How Our Program Works
At Little Steps Child Development Centre, we follow a structured and child-friendly approach to postural correction:
Comprehensive Postural Assessment: We begin with a thorough evaluation of your child’s posture, identifying any misalignments, muscle imbalances, or movement patterns that may affect their physical development.
Customized Treatment Plan: Based on the assessment, we create an individualized therapy plan that includes corrective exercises, stretching routines, manual therapy, and age-appropriate ergonomic guidance.
Therapeutic Interventions: Our expert team uses gentle manual therapy techniques to reduce muscular tension, enhance flexibility, and promote natural spinal alignment in growing children.
Education and Maintenance: We empower families with practical guidance on maintaining healthy posture at home, incorporating child-friendly ergonomics, activity modifications, and daily stretching tips to support long-term postural health and overall well-being.
At Little Steps, our goal is to build strong foundations—one step at a time.

Occupational Therapy at Little Steps Child Development Centre
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a specialized healthcare service that helps children develop the skills they need to perform daily activities (or “occupations”) such as playing, dressing, writing, feeding, and interacting with others. It focuses on improving a child’s physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional abilities so they can grow, learn, and participate fully in everyday life.
What is Speech Therapy?
Speech Therapy is a specialized therapy that helps children develop effective communication skills. It focuses on improving speech, language, voice, fluency, and oral motor abilities. Speech Therapists (also known as Speech-Language Pathologists) work with children to help them speak clearly, understand language, express themselves, and interact socially with confidence.
What is Sensory Integration?
Sensory Integration is the process by which the brain receives, organizes, and responds to sensory input—such as touch, movement, sound, sight, and body awareness. In some children, this system doesn’t work smoothly, causing difficulties in processing and reacting appropriately to everyday sensory experiences.
Sensory Integration Therapy helps children regulate their responses to sensory stimuli, enabling them to function better at home, in school, and in social environments.
What is Physiotherapy?
Pediatric Physiotherapy is a specialized form of therapy focused on helping children improve their movement, strength, posture, and physical development. It supports children in overcoming physical challenges due to injury, developmental delays, neurological conditions, or congenital disorders.
Our physiotherapists use play-based, age-appropriate exercises and techniques to promote mobility and help each child reach key motor milestones like sitting, crawling, standing, and walking.
